SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

We are looking for our first superstar Social Media VA. If this person is you, you will be responsible for running the social media and marketing element of our business. This will include organizing and running marketing campaigns over social media platforms (such as: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc). You will be an important part of the team and made to feel this way. We look after our members and ensure you feel heard, integrated and valid.
 

Please note we are not just looking for an average social media virtual assistant, but someone who goes the extra mile every time. Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

Social Media Manager Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build and execute social media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification

  • Write, develop, and strategize online content production and scheduling

  • Assist with crisis management, bad reviews, and negative news communications

  • Generate, edit, publish and share content daily (original text, images, video, and HTML)

  • Actively responding to messages and comments

  • Create and maintain company social media pages and profiles

  • Create and design a website through Wix

  • Update and maintain the website, make sure it's functional and 

  • Create infographic design needs of the company

  • Creat animated video or explainer videos for the company

  • Create and implement social media marketing plan and editorial calendar

  • Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes

  • Develop strategies to grow our social media platforms both in customer engagement (comments, dialogue, sharing) and numeric value (number of followers, friends).

  • Lead and manage paid advertising efforts (FB Ads, Google Adwords, YouTube ads, etc.) that are focused on driving conversions for key campaigns

  • Constantly tracking and reporting on social analytics and metrics, making suggestions for improvement based on your findings in these reports

  • Researching and staying up to speed on new social media marketing strategies

  • Coming to weekly meetings to present what worked well the previous week and discuss the strategy for the posts coming that week
     

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in updating, handling, and maintaining social media accounts most especially Facebook and LinkedIn

  • Know the in’s and out’s for managing social platforms

  • Extensive experience in managing, creating and posting Social Media content

  • Familiar with developing a social media strategy

  • Exceptional knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other social media platforms

  • Experience with HootSuite, Mailchimp, Canva, and other commonly used tools

  • Familiar with boosting ads, etc…

  • Design experience through Canva (or other graphic design tools) with a very keen eye for details

  • Video Editing skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Preferably with experience working in Real Estate or Property Rental Company

  • Knowledge of Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, etc.)

  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics

  • BS degree in Marketing or relevant field
